André du Toit

"Absolutely amazing bush views from almost all angles of the property. Hosts were very friendly. The property is well equiped. We will absolutely visit again in the near future."

Alison (from United Arab Emirates)

"Uzuri is a gem set within Mabilingwe which was a perfect spot for our extended family getaway. We enjoyed breathtaking sunsets and sunrises and listening to the lions roar. The unit is well equipped and the hosts' attention to detail is second to none. We loved our self drives using the vehicle at the property and sitting at the boma area. Kids loved the jacuzzi and watching the numerous wildlife around the unit. There is more than enough room for a large group to make very special memories like we did."

Rafique (from South Africa)

"The remote location of the property on the 120 square kilometer reserve is a major strength, the property is a 30 minute drive from the main lodge and reception. Allows one to completely enjoy the African bush in private from the large balcony. The kids loved the private pool, jacuzzi and games room. The game drive by game ranger Frans (from Mabalingwe) was a major highlight and highly recommended. We managed to see 3 of the big 5 in 2 hours."

Mervyn (from Durban, South Africa)

"Proved to be an excellent choice of venue, Uzuri Lodge in the Idwala section of Mabalingwe Nature reserve, booked via AirBnB. The lodge had all the amenities, lots of space and stunning views of the reserve. Missed seeing the elusive elephant and rhino, but saw virtually everything else. The lodge has its own pool and hot tub, and is very private, recommend to all especially families with little ones."

Debbie (from South Africa)

"The lodge is really beautiful and well equipped for a large group gathering ( the kitchen is one of the best kitted out kitchens we have ever seen ). The recently installed inverter meant that we hardly noticed the load shedding and no inconvenience of power outage ( even thought there was gas and solar the inverter system really adds another star to this lodge ) The view and proximity to nature and wildlife was fantastic, early morning rusks and coffee on the balcony which was large enough to accommodate us all. The game vehicle is well worth booking and we had such fun out on our game viewing. It was a home away from home and we had a wonderful weeks break - Leigh was very accommodation and kept in touch during our stay ...."
